St. Mary's Prayer Shawl Ministry

Prayers shawls are lovingly and thoughtfully handcrafted by this ministry group of St. Mary's to provide comfort to an individual in need of a tangible reminder that they are loved by our Lord as well as cared for and prayed for by others. Shawls can be shared for any event such as celebrating a new life; undergoing a medical procedure; or during an illness, a time of stress, or bereavement. St. Mary's Prayer Shawl Ministry meets each Tuesday at 12:30pm at Queen Street Deli, where fellowship and prayer are as much an integral part of the process as is the crafting of the shawls. Following completion, each shawl receives a blessing before it is gifted to an individual in need.
